U.S. Supreme Court Rules on Military Tribunals for Gitmo Detainees

There is liberal euphoria today that is anchored in Bush hatred. Unfortunately for them, they look like a bunch of circus freaks.

The Court ruled not against military tribunals for enemy combatants held at the Guantanamo Bay, Cuba base, but against the tribunals without congressional authorization. If you are paying attention to liberals today, you would think that the SCOTUS had just ordered world peace, troop withdrawals from Iraq, a ban on conservative thought, and the body of Ronald Reagan exhumed and dumped in the Pacific Ocean.

Bottom line - There will be some manner of trial/tribunal/something, it just has to have congressional authorization. The libs will oppose this, so again, despite their pleas for action they will obstruct action. Maybe this will happen about..say, October?
