Tragedy at Virginia Tech

Terrible. There are not words to describe the misery and disbelief that so many feel today. The loss of a loved one is hard enough to endure when it happens naturally. One can at least know that the person lived a life full of decisions and joys and sorrows, all of their own making. But to lose a child in this manner, just when they have just started down the road to life...

I have to use this incident to show what a typical, radical, ridiculous liberal had to say about this.

Anyone know Randi Rhodes? I didn't think anyone could be more shrill and more full of hot air and lunacy than Rosie, but I was wrong. This woman has a mouth twice as large, and a brain half as small as Rosie. If you don't know her, she is on that big, blackhole of debt and misery known as Air America. I listen to several stations regularly on XM Radio, and I flip on Air America for a few moments when something is big in the news just to get the liberal perspective.

First, she is using this to rant about the need for gun control. That was a no-brainer. We knew that as coming. But she also showed exactly why we cannot have liberals in power, and we cannot allow liberals to make national and especially defense policy.

She said that the Va. Tech shootings were an act of terrorism. Not the act of a single man who had mental issues, but an act of terrorism. She thinks we need gun control so that terrorist acts such as these cannot be undertaken. So, she doesn't know the difference between terrorism and mental illness.

Then, she illustrated why we cannot allow the liberals to run the military of this country. There was a caller who said that people have the right to defend themselves, and if someone had done so then perhaps lives would have been saved. Rhodes said that it would not have worked, because the normal response to a threat is to flee.

Flee. Get it? The wacky liberals think that the normal reaction to being attacked is to run away and hide. Is it any wonder that there is so much ignorance about the GWOT and the dems refusal to fight? I don't know about you, but my normal reaction is to take action to stop the threat, not run away from it.

So now my reaction is to fight the dems in '08. This is one threat that we can't run away from.
