But Iraq Is Hopeless

I got this from Right On Target, please visit:

Did you know that the Iraqi Navy is operational? They have: 5 - 100-foot patrol craft, 34 smaller vessels and a naval infantry: regiment.

Did you know that Iraq's Air Force consists of three operational: squadrons, which includes 9 reconnaissance and 3 US C-130 transport: aircraft (under Iraqi operational control) which operate day and: night, and will soon add 16 UH-1 helicopters and 4 Bell Jet Rangers?

Tragically, the lack of: accentuating the positive in Iraq serves two purposes: It is intended to undermine the world's perception of the United States, thus minimizing consequent support; and it is intended to: discourage American citizens.:

That all sounds great. Over at

there is a compare/contrast of our
'surge' and the Brit pullout. Which exemplifies, IMHO that no truly objective status study exists. We get a smorgasboard of
POVs, like Global Warming, etc...

I would like to see some balanced reporting of jsut facts. No spin, no posturing, just facts. Such as the immunizations for children. To what extent did that occur prior to our liberation?

I know, as does everyone, that everything is not rosy. However, there are positive thigs happenign that isn't reported.

Did you know.....? I did but very few do because the Dems and the MSM are seeing to it that the truth is being withheld from the general public so that they can continualy push their defeatest agenda.

I'll say, and far from this being the first time, that the MSM is violating what amounts to a sacred duty:

They are empowered with access that the general public does not enjoy. Journalists are embedded with military units in Iraq, for example, and privvy to press conferences, withhold the identities of information sources, etc. In return for these priveleges, the public trusts them to deliver accurate news reports.

By using this trust to instead spin, omit, disinform and altogether propagandize according to a partisan political agenda, they are abusing their access privilege.

IMO, these privileges should be revoked, or some sort of legal penalties should be imposed on these liars as compensation for all the harm they do.

People vote according to the disinformation they receive from the MSM, and that in itself can be read as media manipulation of our entire political process.

the media is a joke, ever since Cronkite damned us in Vietnam, every two bit fishwrap hack wants glory. What really yanks me is the selling out for their country for thier glory. Over and over I say pride is greatest of the deadly sins. Our MSM are stricken with it.
